How to Buy Domain Names
May 23, 2008
Domain Names are essential for your online presence. They are the address which your target audience will use to find you online. Domain names are actually pretty cool, they make it easier to locate a website you are looking for. For example Google.com basically points to 216.239.37.99. You can imagine how hard it would be to remember all those numbers!
Domain names are available at many online sites through registrars. If you are paying more than $9.00 for a domain name I HIGHLY SUGGEST checking out one of these vendors below.
These are some of my favorite domain companies…
Private Registration
One thing I also recommend is to order private registration for your domains. It helps keep your personal data private i.e.: Name, Address, Phone and email address. If you don’t unsolicited mail or email definitely add privacy when buying a domain name. Spammers are known to target people who do not.
